What to do in Misano

Misano Adriatico is one of the favourite summer destinations for families, especially in the summer months, when the beach and the sea are the main attractions. Misano Adriatico is also visited during the spring thanks to the many cycling routes and the proximity to a rich hinterland. From April onwards there are many visitors who love to get lost among the medieval fortresses and ancient villages of the Conca Valley, and there are also nature lovers visiting the nearby Natural Park of Monte San Bartolo.

The name Misano Adriatico is however famous throughout the world thanks to the International Circuit Misano World Circuit Santamonica, which every September hosts the Italian stage of the Moto GP race and attracts fans of two wheels from all over the world.

Misano Monte is the oldest part of the city, is located about 100 meters from the sea, in a panoramic position. Then there is the central area of Misano Adriatico, which is right by the sea, where there are hotels and the vast majority of our holiday apartments.

Then there is Portoverde, the most famous village, where there is the famous marina, with trendy clubs, fish restaurants and local gastronomy, well-kept beaches.

Misano Adriatica is also famous for the many clubs and discos that attract young and old, lovers of music and dance. It is here that some of the most beautiful discos of the Adriatic Coast are concentrated.

Those who love sport can dedicate themselves to cycling, trekking, sailing, running on karts or participating in one of the many events dedicated to two wheels that are held in the circuit.

 

How to reach Misano Adriatico

Those arriving by car from the A14 Milan-Bologna motorway or the Bologna-Bari motorway can exit at Cattolica or Riccione and then take the SS 16 Adriatica.

It is also possible to reach Misano Adriatico by train, directly at the station located in the city.
